A Chic Week in Paris
This city, home of haute couture, is bound to get you in a fashionable mood. Take to the streets and instantly you’ll become entranced by the sophistication and effortless style for which the Parisians are renowned for. With this in mind, we can’t really think of a better place to head for a Chic Week. After five days in the thick of the city, you’ll return a vision of elegance, with a new-found enviable wardrobe too.
A stylish start
When you set foot on the streets of Paris, you’ll be taken to the hotel Bel Ami in Saint Germain des Prés. Here, you can make yourself at home amongst contemporary design and bright colours. Expect to find the selves stacked with art books, its restaurants serving organic produce, and live music and art exhibitions in the bar; needless to say, with numerous designers showcasing their efforts here, the hotel has a noticeably fashionable ambiance.
City style inspiration
Roam the streets to immerse yourself in Parisian style before your shopping excursion and hop into a couple of the city’s famed galleries. Once you’re in the stylish mood, it’s time to take the plunge and make for La Vallée Village.
Refreshed and raring to go after a good night’s kip, hop onto the La Vallée Village Shopping Express™ which shuttles eager shoppers to and from this retail heaven. A mere 35 minutes from Paris, you’ll be dropped off onto the elegant boulevards of La Vallée Village, one of the Collection of Chic Outlet Shopping® Villages across Europe. Here you can lose yourself amongst the more than 110 luxury outlet boutiques, which include Antik Batik, Jimmy Choo and Longchamp. If this all seems a little overwhelming, or you really want to get ahead of the fashion-pack, a personal shopping service is available upon reservation. Once you’re shopped out, take cover in Espace La Vallée®, the Village’s very own art gallery showcasing the most cutting edge contemporary art and photography.
If you’re itching to escape big city life for a day, make for the Champagne wine region that surrounds Paris. Here you’ll be met with wineries and vineyards galore, where you can perfect the wine sommelier within. Follow this with a quick trip to Château de Vaux le Vicomte, the stately home that provided the inspiration for the palace of Versailles.
